Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Jurassic Coast on this two-day Seascape Photography Workshop. This World Heritage Site, with its iconic rock formations and dynamic coastline, offers endless opportunities to capture the sea’s ever-changing moods.
Start your journey at Lulworth Cove, where turquoise waters meet unique shorelines, ideal for wide-angle compositions and long-exposure techniques. At the majestic Durdle Door, you’ll experiment with ND filters to capture the motion of the sea against the limestone arch. At the same time, Old Harry Rocks provides dramatic contrasts between the towering chalk formations and the endless horizon.
As the sun dips towards the horizon, perfect your sunset photography at Studland Bay, where soft sands and tranquil waters create a serene backdrop. On day two, you’ll explore Swanage Pier, where architectural and seascape photography collide, offering reflections and dramatic long exposure possibilities in the golden light.
An experienced photographer will provide hands-on instruction on composition, lighting, and mastering seascape photography throughout the workshop. You’ll learn to capture the shifting light, dynamic skies, and powerful sea movements that define the Jurassic Coast’s timeless appeal.
Every location will inspire creativity from sunrise to sunset as you expand your technical skills and develop your artistic vision. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore the fundamentals of seascape photography or an experienced photographer aiming to refine your craft, this workshop offers the perfect blend of creative challenge and technical mastery in one of England’s most iconic landscapes.
